These days I am not well enough! I'm tired and generally hurts the lower back and my arms. At noon my youngest son came home full of joy! He said to me: mom ,I am holding on something very old!
I have the first guitar of guitarist " Grovers " from 1969 ! It was a new band in Thessaloniki. He was very excited and he showed me the wear from use and the old style guitar.
The love for the old objects inherited from his mother!

What a wonderful old guitar! I'm glad your son recognizes the value in things made years ago, generally with better materials and quality workmanship. I have a younger guitar, made in 1976, and I love it.

ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήI hope you feel better soon. I'll tell you a little story, for a change! I used to suffer from terrible back pain. One day, I was at a local show and, as my back was hurting so much, I entered a marquee, where different people were demonstrating alternative medicine, hoping to find a seat of some kind.
Some "healer" wanted a voluntary, as he was intending to demonstrate his skills. I came forward, as I needed to sit down and rest. So, I sat (on a chair, which was placed on a small stage!) and was asked to relax, which I did.
My friend Sandra told me the man never touched me. He just moved his hands, just following the contour of my body, and stopped a few centimeters away from the part of my back which hurt so much! I could feel something while he did that. I hate to say this, Olympia, but I was cured and my back pain (which was very bad) never ever returned.
Anyway... I hope your back pain and your pains in the arms get a bit easier. I know how bad it can get.
The guitar is very nice, and I so wish I could play it! Your son seems very nice, and had a very lucky find! It's lovely to see how shiny and new he manages to keep it!
