On Sunday, after tree hours of cooking "moussaka" , while we were eating , I heard on TV that at that time began the bazaar of antiques !! I was pretty tired but decided to go !The park which contained the bazaar was near my house , about five stops by bus .... All the years I live here, has never been open -air bazaar !!
I went !!!
Click to enlarge the photos !
It took me an hour to see the things because it was small.....It had only twelve benches ...The people there they said that was good for start , because granted the permission from the municipality !!
Some of them they did not gave the permission to take pics !!!
Of course I bought three little things !!!!!
Have a nice day !!

Is it correct ?
It's always fun to go to places like that. I see a little bowl I had bought if I had been there. Today we have cold and rain brrrr.

Brilliant, Olympia, just brilliant. Not only have you done a collage but watermarked your photos too - I am so very proud of you.
ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήWe really enjoyed our moussaka last night, so thank you for the recipe.
Lovely to have the open air antiques in the park, and pleased that you found some things to buy.
Hello Olympia:
ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήWe should not, had we been within a hundred miles, have missed this little open air market for all the world. Such treasures, judging from your pictures, and we are sure that we should have had no difficulty whatsoever filling our shopping basket. Great fun.
Che bel mercatino!!

Sabry!!
The weird thing is: this could be somewhere in the UK! It looks very Northern European, to me.
ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήOlympia, in England we have Car Boot Sales(flee markets) where people take their bits and pieces (antique, retro, curios or anything they want to sell) and pay a small fee, which allows them to set up and trade.
There is a one near my house, every Saturday. I sometimes go there to have a look, but have not, as yet, found anything really nice. I think you would love all the antique shops we have here! But then, come to think... you have the Acropolis and in Italy we have Pompeii!

Dearest Olympia,
ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήThat was worthwhile for going and checking it out. Some nice old type trays that could be re-done and look gorgeous.
Love to you,
Mariette

This looks like a very nice market in a lovely setting. I like the teapot, milk and sugar containers in pink pattern on white. Also, the old Singer sewing machine.

Looks like it was lovely weather. I like the old Singer sewing machines. They sure are much prettier than what you can get today. Of course, I don't even know how to sew. Just like the looks of it. :) Those big shadowboxes would be great for storing little treasures. Hope your day is wonderful. Tammy
ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήOh that looks like such a wonderful outing.
ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήOh thanks, Olympia for showing us around! Looks like you had a good time - I like that pink china and your collage is very appealing! Have a good day! Christa
