Last week we went to Athens. One day we went for lunch with my husband 's brother and his wife .This is a view from Peraus to Athens .

It was early about 12:00 and it was empty ... but we ate something and we continued our jobs ...

It's quite big, but has the feel of a "taverna." I love it all and I wish I were there! The floors are so beautiful and I like the way old and new go hand in hand... I love old... I love history and the past...

ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήThat was quite a treat for letting us look inside this special restaurant. Lots of architectural details. The floors are unusually pretty. Also next to the wine barrel I noticed the old type tray being worked into the wall. Those they used for printing newspapers and such. Looks like there are several built in like that.

Dear Olympia: These tiles are extraordinary. I always admire floors that look like this. It makes so much difference and to me it is very mediterranean. I very much like the first pic where one can see the sea. I haven't seen it's blue for nearly one year... I am full of yearning to see it again... Christa PS.
