No spring yet .....

At West and Middle Macedonia in Greece the spring is not coming yet ....
The blue sky and the sunshine  are wonderful but it is very cold .....



                                                         The snow is about 50 cm....

                                                       Is it  alone but beautiful?
                                                   Only one car on the road .......
                          The sunshade  of trees .....and  quite....
                                                       The area of monastery .....
                                                                   The bell of church .....
                                        And the Church of Blessed Virgin Mary of Sumela  ..... 
                                                                     the sanctification ....

                               This last Sunday was the Great Celebration of Orthodoxy  ....
                                             Come back to our home......
                                               We  wait the spring ......
                                                  Have a nice day !!

    I love your sunny snow pictures! The Monastery is beautiful.
    It is not yet winter here. We are just starting the season of autumn, a very nice time of year in Melbourne, with warm, but not hot days and cool nights and mornings.

    Dear Olympia,
    lovely to see you again. Wonderful bright snowy photos of Macedonia area.. It looks beautiful.
    I love the Greek Orthodox churches..they are magnificent and so so old ..with such a wonderful history.
    We do not get snow here where i live.. just high up in the mountains of the north of Portugal..
    Spring is pretty much peeping its head now.. lovely days ahead.
