We went to pick up vegetables  , my father looked the plants ,
I was taking pics and my hunsband was looking arround .....
After three hours we picked up a lot of them .......
It was a nice green morning !!!!

I am linking to  Fiona's Green Day    at   Raindrops and  Daisies

I saw the other posts , they are beautiful , it is my first time and I know
that the others are much better .
But as Pierre de Coubertin  said:

remember 1 or 2 comments is enough
no one expects you to be at the computer all night.

    Thank you again

  6. Hi Olympia (again)!

I will send you some rain from Ireland
as we have lots of it here now!

When we were away on holiday the temperature was 29 degrees
    and I was nearly dead
I really don't think I can cope with more than 24

If I lived in your country, my house would be a mess
and there would be no housework done
as I would be sleeping in the heat!!!

  8. Hi Olympia

With temperatures like those you get I would be dead!

    I live in Southern Ireland
    in a country area
    we are
about 7km from the nearest shop
so if we run out of milk or bread it is bad luck!!

Lovely place to live, lots of fields and greenery
but you would definitely need to have a car.

Sometimes I wish I lived closer to shops
but then again it is lovely and quiet here.

I suppose it is what we are used to.

I love your blog and thanks so much for linking up today!

    Have a lovely Sunday

  12. Hello Olympia, from Italy! I have a bag of zucchine (courgette) flowers in the fridge, which we bought yesterday. They will probavly end up in a frittata (Italian omeletted) or stuffed and then baked (very yummy!)

40C today, here where I am, and I love it!

  13. Hello Olympia:
What a wonderfully productive vegetable garden your father in law has. Everything looks to be in perfect condition and how marvellous it must be to be able to just go into the garden and pick fresh produce each day. Lovely!

  19. Dear Olympia - your father-in-laws garden is a real treat, and how wonderful to be able to wander along the rows of vegetables picking a basket full to take home.

  20. Dear Olympia,
I forgot to thank you for your comments on my blog. Baby Luke is going well and growing fast. Keeps his Mummy very busy.
My final check up at the doctor went well yesterday and I am almost back to normal. Just need to take things slowly and do what I feel like doing. It will be good to get into the garden in the Spring....there are many weeds! The weather is nice and sunny here today after a cold and foggy start. It was 3C (34.7F) at 9.00am. It would be good if we could swap some weather:) Thank you for your concern. You are very kind. Hope you are well and enjoying the Olympic games on TV.
    Love, from Betty

  23. It looks like the garden is coming along nicely! I have never seen squash growing from the plant before. I hope to have my own garden someday. To answer your question from our Greek Festival post, no I have not tried moussaka yet. But, I will have to try it because it looks delicious! In California, we have Greek Festivals in many cities every year. Sheri (my mom), Nel, and I try to attend one once a year. I hope you are having a lovely week :-)
