I apologize because I have promised to post with small treasures! I found many but I did not  took with my camera. So I dedicate these two videos to all of you.

  2. Dear Olympia,

It was kind of you to dedicate the videos to all of us, though I like to believe that Zorba is all mine and that wish that just for a little moment I could have been on that beach with him. I believe that life should be about love, music and happiness all around.

You brought one (or two, or three tears) to my eyes. My part of Italy was once called Magna Grecia, and I would like to believe I am a little bit Greek, though I was born in Bari, the Norman city! I was born in old Magna Grecia, and that is why I feel so close and in love with your country. I also love it because it's so beautiful!

I once met my very own Zorba (a very old man with a hankerchief in his hand-I think I already told you the story.) Like Zorba in the movie, he danced with me, but he didn't have to teach me the steps. For some reason, I knew how to dance the Sirtaki. I can honestly say that it was one of the happiest nights of my life! But I won't tell you the story, again!

Thank you for Zorba, Olympia. I'm going to watch it again and shed a few more happy tears.

    Viva la Grecia!

    LOVE

    ANNA

  3. Dearest Olympia,

Oh in the 70s we did dance Zorba the Greek often in The Netherlands when it was popular. The ending of the video is the best!
    Love to you,

    Mariette
