Old houses

This morning I went to an area of ​​the city about four stops from my house, towards the center. There the streets are narrow and the building are causing me a bad feeling. Always try to find something beautiful, a nice balcony, a beautifully decorated shop , finally something ......  

I saw those two old houses that I think are something beautiful in the gray city.

This is relatively tidy.

                            The painted blue building  is the nursery of the municipality

                   But  opposite  from these two elegant buildings there is a abandoned
                                   which I do not know how long it will wait a little care ...

                     There are several old buildings in town but some of them have been
                                   retained and  others wait  the care of the state ..
                                   I hope that  one day they will find their old sparkle  .

First day at the beach

              The last Saturday  we received a phone from our little godson.

                           He finished school and started the summer holidays. 

                 Each year comes from Athens to the countryside, 80 km from Thessaloniki. 

So Sunday we went to see him ...

                          It was a wonderful day with lots of love, joy and laughter  with our godson  !!!

An old door !!

I told you before that the aunt bequeathed to us an old house which needs to repair our own work .. Unfortunately there is no time to spend money ....I  show you the door ...... many painting ... my husband insists that the only wasted money can only be done to change the door ....

 I disagree because I like the old worn by time.

                                 I need help .... to support my opinion  or to have another  alternative ...

We went for a few days again to our parents. It was indeed, and elections and came several friends from other cities. So it was a good opportunity to meet and see you each other  !

Wishes for the cristening

The first lady  here is my neighbor, my friend's sister .. . On Sunday he baptized her third grandchild. So she called this morning for coffee.The second lady is my friend .

Little coolness in the most beautiful beach

Today began the heat !   It's muggy in the big city !  So to feel a little better I began to dream of the dew, the beaches, the blue sky.

This is the most beautiful beaches in Greece. 

We've gone three times.    It is difficult access but worth the effort.

An old guitar

These days I am not well enough! I'm tired and generally hurts the lower back and my arms. At noon  my youngest son came home full of joy! He said to me: mom ,I am holding on something very old!

I have the first guitar of guitarist  " Grovers " from 1969 ! It was a new band in Thessaloniki. He was very excited and he showed me the wear from use and the old style guitar.
