Saturday Market

Every Saturday in my neighbourhood is the largest flea market in Thessaloniki.

We shop the vegetables and fruits of the week .

But my greatest joy is when I go on the road with flowers.

candy and nuts

potatoes and garlic

many strawberries ................

cheese ,yogurt , cake sheets

all kinds of olive ....

for planting tomatoes ..............

eggplants and pepper for planting .......

the bench with herbs .......

ceramics ,soil .garden items.........

this way makes me feel like a small child in front of chocolates...

I look at the benches with flowers and I want to buy all...

Another way they sell curtains and household items..

The surrounding streets are outdoor coffee shops but today I was not for coffee.
But the truth is that I got home with all necessary shopping and with enough
flowers for planting . The pleasure was great and next post will show the results !!

A gift for me

Today,while my husband returned from his work was holding a bag . I asked him what it is and he said that is a gift for you ! I was surprised because we had not some anniversary or something else ..I opened the bag and saw two candlesticks . I asked why he took them and told me that he saw in a shop and thought that I liked . I really liked but I thought that it is no time for wasting ....He reassured me by saying that he took 15 euro.

I had these old candlesticks

I think that new is better and I thought it would match
the set of dishes that I bought .

I thanked my sweet husband and I promised to prepare
a nice dinner and turn them on !

New dishes like old

Yesterday I went down town to a store and saw these dishes that are old style. I liked and decided to buy them.When I asked the saleswoman for dinnerware ,she replied that it is not complete the set.

He had the following six shallow plates ,6 deep , a salad bowl , a platter and two small fruit .

All costs 50 euros. I thought about it enough and decided to buy .I was thinking maybe find some additional dishes and so to complete the set .
